First off, Rachael and Tessa, just a gigantic thank you. From day one, the amount of knowledge, grace, patience and guidance you both gave was more than we could have asked for. When people say that relators are like counselors, I couldn't agree more! Both Rachael and Tessa were there, seriously at anytime we had questions, which was more then not, no matter if it was a weekend, weeknight after hours or even if they were out of town, I always got a response. She followed up promptly and met with us to learn about our interest in having our property assessed for the current market conditions. Our property was located in a desirable neighborhood , but the home was old and we needed some advice on the best case scenario for a successful sale. Rachael has a very good sense of the local market and was able to provide advice that lent comforting direction to our decisions . As it turned out in the beginning of our relationship with Rachael our needs put our desire to sell on hold for personal reasons. Rachael was very understanding and impressed me when she said that she was in her profession for the long haul and would be happy to meet again when the time was right for us. And it was refreshing to meet someone that knew their reasons for doing what they do. As it turned out several months later we were ready to get started. And while I had Rachael's suggestions to work from she had to show a great deal of patience with me as I tried to mate her suggestions to my vision . But at no time did I feel that Rachael was more interested in her payday than in my need to feel that I wanted my home to have value to the eventual buyer. Thru it all I felt Rachael was a great cheerleader while working with me to bring the project to a successful finish . After a good give and take discussion we arrived at a listing price that ultimately became a successful sale. I did my work and Rachael did her thing and made it very homey . The original property ultimately fell through due to the seller. However, that led to finding a second piece of property off market the following day. Buying land was a lot different than just buying a house (which we've owned a few). They helped us navigate and understand the questions surrounding the wetland studies, natural resource studies, and the various other permits we needed to have in order to make a smart purchase of a BUILDABLE piece of land. We had no idea the process it really is to be able to buy land and build. However, we are now closed and have everything we need to apply for our building permit. If you are considering buying land or a house I can't recommend this team enough. They will also put you in touch with a land use consultant which is invaluable as well. We had an excellent team to make this happen. If you are considering building or buying your dream house I highly recommend using them. They are very experienced and can get you through this daunting but well worth it challenge. Also, the communication was exceptional! We had updates constantly so we were never just sitting and wondering what was happening next. We are big communicators so we greatly appreciated that about this team.
