I had the misfortune of working with Julie when we were looking to relocate out to the Rockford area from the Chicago suburbs last spring. She refused to show us houses we wanted to see, would give unsolicited and unethical advice about certain areas of the city (not sure that is even legal). She gave us the cold shoulder at several showings while she texted on her phone the entire time. We went through 2 inspections with this woman on 2 houses and she made it out like the inspector was too thorough? For the 2nd house she insisted we give a hefty $5,000 deposit check , which she proceeded to then hold hostage for over a month after the offer fell through. Ignored my calls, and blocked our numbers. I finally got a hold of someone in her office, Molly, who was able to get my money back after threat of involving my lawyer. Horrible person, and I will be reporting her to the board of real estate agents. She should be ashamed of how she behaves and treats people in such a stressful market. This was to be my very first home, and she tainted the entire experience. I ended up deciding against moving to the area.
