Ive spent over 20 years in the military, which meant moving around a lot. Over the past 25 years Ive bought and sold nine different properties, so Ive worked with quite a few real estate agents. It was my late fathers home in Tennessee, and I live in Florida. Since it was part of his estate, there were a lot of moving parts and a long list of things that needed to be done before the house could go on the market. That wasnt part of her job, but she did it anyway because she genuinely cared about helping me get to the closing table. What impressed me most was that she never treated me like just another client. She was always available when I had questions, kept me informed throughout the process, and was proactive instead of reactive. I always felt like she was looking out for my best interests. Buying or selling a home can be stressful under normal circumstances.
