Over the last few years, ROC Property Management Group has managed our SFH properties. They are top-notch property managers dealing with all the rental issues from lease, tenants and maintenance and they keep you informed on the important stuff. We've recently sold the homes and ROC made the process of selling so easy from recommending what upgrades should be done, getting bids, construction management, through to marketing the homes and quick sales for which we received good market value! I have been exceptionally pleased with the professionalism and the oversight ROC has provided for my investments. It's tough to trust a complete stranger with something as important as purchasing a new home and selling an old one. Kevin proved that he could be trusted through every step of the process. He proved it with his patience, when I turned down so many houses, until we found the perfect one. He proved it with all the professional resources he provided to help me repair my existing home and downsize personal property. He proved it with professional photography and signage. He proved when he sold my home for a great price.

To sum up our experience with Rick OConnor and ROC management, should be avoided if renting low income. Our privacy as tenants was not respected. Felt disrespected as tenants and treated poorly from last minute maintenance calls, to threats of charging late fees or entering and trying to enter our unit on short notice. We have small children and this was very inconvenient. Washer and dryer did not work in the building and were not maintained by property owner (Rick) in our two years living in his unit. We were happy a first with our tenancy but this did not last. We were unfairly charged for repairs needed before our move in upon exit from our lease. I believe Rick did not like us and as such decided to charge as many fees and charge as high of price as possible for handyman work he does himself. 150 to caulk a bathroom (a ten minute job we watched him do ourselves) 350 for not finishing a cleaning list (a single room left with a few tasks to complete) 250 to clean a stove. Astronomical rates considering Rick is not a private contractor/handyman and does not hire a cleaning service of professionals for new tenants. Would not recommend business with him.
