We started looking for a place in Monticello back in 2017, looked at sooo many trailers and cabins, but nothing really struck us. Finally, we purchased our lot back in 2019 with the intention of building on it. Then Covid hit. Construction prices soared and contractors were hard to find. In 2021, we decided we didn't want to wait any more to live there, so we decided we wanted to buy a house and sell the lot.
