Growing up on the East Coast, Ray learned early on the importance of a good hustle. He owned his first company at the age of 14. He attended the University of Delaware & received a degrees in marketing & art. With a thirst for knowledge & a desire to travel, he left the US for 2 years to pursue an MBA in Australia. After Australia, he was determined to move to LA with a dream of being a top sales professional. He set up an export company specializing in high-end luxury cars in Beverly Hills. Ray became a realtor with an aspiration of being a sales leader. With him, he took all of his experience in sales, negotiating, marketing & educational background to excel in his new career. He quickly advanced & is in the top 1% of Realtors Nationwide, winning various awards. He owns several investment properties in CA, lived in Santa Monica for 12 years & currently lives in Mar Vista in a new construciton home he built. He has been working on a lot of new construction projects in the area.

I can recommend Ray Lyon and Alex Enriquez unequivocally for all your real estate needs. At the age of 99 my Mom, who was a hoarder, passed away. I live in a different state and from my very first phone conversation with the team I was confident they would be able to help me in so many ways. From getting 96 pieces of artwork appraised, to meeting tenants to pick up keys and do final walkthroughs, Ray and Alex made this painful time so much easier for me to navigate. In total, they sold four very different pieces of property, from a 6 unit apartment building, to my childhood home, to two other rentals my Mom and I owned. They were able to keep my costs to a minimum, and knew exactly which repairs were necessary to achieve maximum profits. Their knowledge of all the complicated landlord laws, especially in Santa Monica, was extensive. They have an outstanding crew behind them including a handyman, a staging company, and an escrow company which are as attentive and cost conscious as they are. They work very long hours and will frequently answer calls up hntil 11PM which is great for a night owl like me. Not only are they fantastic realtors, but they are genuinely really nice guys. They took the time to get to know me and worked quickly to help me achieve my goals. Should you decide to hire Ray and Alex you will have absolutely no regrets.

It's a strong vote of confidence when you use an agent 3 times! When it was time to sell my Mar Vista home, I knew Ray was the right choice. His advice and suggestions during the recent process made the transaction essentially effortless on my part. Ray coordinated everything: a light touch-up of the property with a handyman, had it staged beautifully, then finally worked his contacts for advance previews. The results paid off. In a challenging market, we fielded multiple offers with several over-asking. Westside RE buyers can be finicky and make last minute changes, but Ray handled that with grace and patience. We are grateful to have found Ray to handle the sale of our Santa Monica condominium. We found him to be smart, honest, reliable and diligent. In our first meeting he guided us on timing and rather than rushing us into a sale, he suggested we wait for the best season to put it on the market. He worked with us on a pricing strategy which turned out to be optimal as it attracted multiple offers. We actually moved out of the country before listing it and Ray was able to take care of everything without us there. We felt he did a beautiful job in staging. In the end our sale price was substantially more than we expected and we were able to close cleanly despite some difficulties our buyer's lender encountered that were not anyone's fault but which Ray helped to resolve. We highly recommend Ray to anyone thinking of selling their property.
