I live in a different state and from my very first phone conversation with the team I was confident they would be able to help me in so many ways. From getting 96 pieces of artwork appraised, to meeting tenants to pick up keys and do final walkthroughs, Ray and Alex made this painful time so much easier for me to navigate. In total, they sold four very different pieces of property, from a 6 unit apartment building, to my childhood home, to two other rentals my Mom and I owned. They were able to keep my costs to a minimum, and knew exactly which repairs were necessary to achieve maximum profits. Their knowledge of all the complicated landlord laws, especially in Santa Monica, was extensive. They have an outstanding crew behind them including a handyman, a staging company, and an escrow company which are as attentive and cost conscious as they are. They work very long hours and will frequently answer calls up hntil 11PM which is great for a night owl like me. Not only are they fantastic realtors, but they are genuinely really nice guys. ZillowVERIFIED Ray helped me sell our condo that we bought 8 years ago, originally using Ray to buy and rent our condo. Ray provided information to help us navigate a tenant who failed to pay his rent at the end of stay. Ray was there to help with an extensive renovation that required a degree of expertise encompassing HVAC systems, carpet replacement, corroded P Traps, repainting, new drapes, etc. The pictures he listed the property with showed the penthouse condo off to its best effect. We got over 1400 views and ultimately 80 saves. The condo was under contract within 2 weeks and closed within 22 days. The buyer was demanding. Ray sourced handymen to deliver services needed in a timely manner to keep the process on track and at a reasonable price. Closing was delayed 1 day but that in retrospect was more my fault than anyone else. Yes I would use Ray again without hesitation to buy or sell a property in Santa Monica or Brentwood.

When I mentioned to one prominent area realtor that I was considering Ray, he rather sniffily told me that while Ray might be good with condos, he wasnt the right person for a house like mine. I was completing the remodel of the house I was moving into and the last thing I wanted was to spend mental energy on my home sale; I really wanted an agent I could trust who would just take it over and get me the best deal at the lowest cost to myself possible. From the first conversation it was clear that Ray is not only a smart, engaged and very experienced real estate agent, but also an incredibly savvy marketing expert with an excellent pulse on the dynamics of real estate at any given point. Even in the midsts of the truly unpredictable COVID pandemic his assessment of the market and his proposed advertising strategy was 100% on point. He was wonderful to work with - thorough, diligent and patient in guiding me through the process, and thoughtful and considerate of all people involved (including all my neighbors). Ray also took a personal interest in helping me make my property look its absolute best - he strategized with me and gave me invaluable tips on how to stage the space, and even helped me with some of his own staging items! Ray also brought in a fantastic photographer who created irresistible photos, a 3D walkthrough and jaw dropping drone footage of the apartment inside and out. Many friends who had known the place for years were commenting on how well he captured its vibe and brought out its very best.
