We met John when we decided to sell our house. It all sounded fake after he spent 15 min explaining how successful he and his company are. We also thought his pricing was too high, unrealistic and picked another agent that was more humble and coherent with pricing. By giving an higher estimate, he probably wanted us to be part of his inventory, and would then have either reduced the price, or have us spend tons of money fixing the house in the order to sell it. That's a classic technic. Once on the market, John and a few agents from his company dared criticizing our pricing despite some huge improvements being made in the house and being lower than his own estimate... Just the typical discusting, and dishonest real estate mafia that you want to avoid at all cost. Not to be trusted...
