Recently we had the distinct pleasure of having Crystal Dickens as our realtor at Lake Gaston. Crystal helped us get established in our original weekend lake house in 2008, and helped us sell our newer house when we were forced to exit lake life. Originally, we purchased our property as a weekend getaway where we could positively influence our grandchildren and teach them to fish, swim, waterski, and wakeboard while making wonderful memories for them that last a lifetime. While we enjoyed several years in the new place, unforeseen health issues arose forcing us to move closer to Johns Hopkins and Walter Reed Hospitals. We again turned to Crystal to help us sell our property. Crystal provided us an in-depth market analysis, developed a marketing strategy, and listed the property within two weeks. Using the latest in aerial photography, Crystal created a web-based video of our property and the surrounding quiet cove off Pea Hill Creek on which the property is located. Because of the web-based listing, we received an offer sight unseen. Crystal strongly recommended the buyers travel to LKG to visually inspect the property before we accepted the contract, and we believe because of her suggestion, the buyers fell as much in love with the propertys location as we did. Contract signing and closing were all done virtually, thereby negating the need for either party to travel down to the lake.
