I recently purchased a condo in Santa Rosa and was extremely fortunate to find Mike Stone, realtor, to help me with the process. I can't say enough positive things about Mike and would highly recommend his realtor services to family and friends and all looking to purchase a home in the Sonoma County area. Mike is so knowledgable about the area and home buying process. He was there for me (offering advice and answering questions) throughout the entire purchase process. Mike is extremely hard working, an expert at what he does, and on top of all that, he is very personable and easy to relate to. I felt comfortable and confident knowing that he was there by my side. I live out of the area and am so appreciative to Mike for actually checking out condos for me and helping me to find one that fits all of my needs and is in a good location. My husband and I worked with Mike Stone to buy our home in Windsor, CA last year and he was everything we needed in a realtor. Our sons decided to live in the bay area and since we were retiring, we made the decision to move from Southern California to Sonoma County. At the time we began our house hunting we still had active careers in Southern California and our time was limited to weekend trips to look at properties. This left us dependent on Trulia and Zillow, etc. for possible properties, Mike was very flexible and supportive of our situation, arranging as many viewings as possible for the times we were in the area. Mike was persistent, sending us listings daily for our review, staying in regular contact and tirelessly providing feedback on the properties we had discovered on-line that we thought were houses we might be interested in, he also set us up on MLS so we could view properties as they came on the market without delay. He very quickly understood what we were looking for, what our priorities were and guided us to potential homes we would seriously consider which kept us from wasting time looking at properties he knew we wouldnt like.Mike was attentive to us as buyers which can be rare in dealing with real estate agents, making us feel that he had a genuine interest in satisfying our needs as buyers vs. trying to sell us on properties that may not have fit all our needs. He was very knowledgeable about the state of the housing market at the time and helped us set our expectations of list price vs. purchase price. Closure went seamlessly, pending closure Mike helped us negotiate money back for items that needed fixing per the inspection report and he even helped the seller find their next house to help remove a contingency and get us into our new home as quickly as possible.After the close of escrow Mike took the effort to recommend a handyman, yardman and other services for the house and recommended great places to go showing his knowledge of the community and reinforcing our feelings that we had made the right decision.We love our new home and would never hesitate to recommend Mike to others, hes a true professional and a genuinely nice guy.

Mike Stone is the best in the business! My husband and I were first time buyers and were very specific in what we were looking for in our first home. Mike spent time showing us many homes in and around Santa Rosa and was very knowledgeable in every community that we went to - pointing out the pros and cons of each (i.e. school districts, traffic noise, desirability, etc.). When we found the home that we liked, he helped us every step of the way in bidding, filling out forms, inspections, and everything in between. He is very knowledgeable in everything regarding owning a home. From house upgrades and maintenance, he made sure we understood everything that we were getting into.
