I had a very disappointing experience not only with Heather Bailey as my buyers agent, but also with her broker, Mark Haaga. After bringing serious concerns to his attention regarding Heathers conduct during my home purchase, I was extremely dissatisfied with how the situation was handled. I provided Mark with detailed information outlining multiple issues, including misrepresentation of zoning related to short-term rental legality, lack of due diligence, poor representation, and several unprofessional and unethical actions. These were not minor concernsaEUR"they directly impacted my financial situation and the viability of the property I purchased. I also made it clear that I had documentation to support my claims. Rather than taking my concerns seriously and conducting a fair review of the situation, Mark immediately defended his agent without, in my opinion, properly addressing the substance of the issues I raised. As an already unsatisfied client, I was hoping for accountability and a resolution. Instead, the situation escalated further. When I requested compensation for the damages and losses I have incurred as a result of this transaction, Mark chose to pursue legal action rather than work toward a reasonable resolution. Since then, he has stopped communicating with me altogether. In addition, I attempted to gather information from another agent within the brokerage who had relevant knowledge about statements made by the sellers agentaEUR"information that could support my efforts to seek compensation from the sellers side due to misleading claims about the property. I was informed that Mark instructed his agents not to assist me or provide any statements. This felt like an intentional effort to prevent transparency and accountability. As a result of these experiences, I have formally reported both Heather Bailey and Mark Haaga to the appropriate regulatory authorities, including the Utah Division of Real Estate and the Board of Realtors. From my perspective, the handling of this situation demonstrated a lack of professionalism, accountability, and ethical responsibility. Instead of addressing legitimate concerns raised by a client, Mark chose to defend his agent, escalate the situation legally, and cut off communication. I would strongly caution others to carefully consider their choice of brokerage, especially if they value transparency, accountability, and client advocacy. My experience left me feeling unsupported and without recourse during a very serious and financially impactful situation.

Mitchell did a great job helping us buy our home. We bought from out of state and he did a lot of heavy lifting to make it possible. We did video calls and he did a lot of research and phone calls with different cities so we could see if the properties would meet our needs. He was always quick to respond and help with any needs we came across. He went to the property to insure our sprinklers were on and helped us find some contractors to make sure our house is perfect by the time we arrive. He also helped us negotiate a great close in our favor! We are happy with all of his work on our behalf and would recommend him to anyone trying to buy or sell a home!
