Joe was great to work with. He let us drive the showings, which was huge for us. Instead of an agent taking us to houses that didn't pique our interest (like my sister's agent did), we only saw what we wanted to see. He is really thorough when viewing a house, pointing out construction and maintenance issues and considerations. As we were awed by the superficial aspects, he was digging into the bones of the house. Watching him taught us a lot about how to really, truly shop for a house. He was also really fun during the showings - keeping it light and interacting as people instead of purely a transaction. Showing days can feel long, but Joe made it enjoyable. Once he helped us find our home, he was right on top of the process for us. Having never done this before, his guidance was invaluable. He also referred us to some great people/organizations for inspection and our mortgage. As a result of all the prep, our closing took an hour, which may have set a world record. It was a great experience, start to finish.
