I've known Ryan for many years. We deployed together. When I had reached a really low point in life, he was there for me and is the one that convinced me to move to Texas to start over. He went so far as to offering for me to live with him while I got established down here, so that's what I did. I'm glad that I did, because while I was, I got to watch Ryan work a lot. I got to see him do a lot of deals, deal with a lot of clients, and handle a lot of situations. When it came time for me to buy my home, I think the best compliment I can give is this: I was treated like any other client. I mean that in the best way possible. Because, regardless of our past history together, deploying together for over a year, and keeping in touch for a decade past that, it didn't matter. It's not that I was "dropped" down to a level of "any other client". It's that I just got to see from living with him before, that every client he dealt with, was "elevated" to the same status and treatment he gives to veteran's he's served with, people he knows, and people he considers a brother. He made sure everything was right. He took as much time as needed. Got me the best deal I could've got (way better than I thought I could've gotten, and I've owned homes before). He followed through. He was available when others wouldn't be. I didn't wait or second time ask about anything or for answers. He remembered, he was on top of it. I had more self-imposed stress of just being worried about moving-in down the road than I had from anything of the buying process. So that's what you get with Ryan. You won't get empty platitudes or lip-service. You'll get the same treatment, same effort, and same dedication that he'd give to someone he knew for years and who he served with in a war zone; the same "having your back", as you depended on when it was life or death.
