My realtor, Rafael Ching, and his team were incredible in helping me sell my co-op apartment in Queens. My mother and I had owned this co-op for decades. I live out of state and needed someone that could handle this sale for me without me being in town. Rafael and his team hit the ground running. After visiting the co-op he advised that it needed a good cleaning and to be painted. He referred a painter to me and it looked so much better afterwards. Rafael and his team regularly held open houses and did showings to bring buyers. We received many offers, but Rafael and his team had to screen them to make sure they met the requirements for the co-op board. We went through two buyers that met the boards requirements on paper, but were rejected. Rafael and his team, particularly Jean Santos, kept me informed every step of the way. While at times it was heartbreaking news, they always let me know next steps to get the next buyer. We had a third strong buyer that was incredibly rude and obnoxious to everyone including my attorney, and fortunately, she had not signed the contract yet when a better and stronger buyer submitted an offer. We signed the contract with this new buyer. Again, Rafael and his team guided the transaction throughout and this time the board approved the buyer!! I was very happy and relieved. Rafael and his team did a fabulous job and I couldnt be happier!!
