Back in 2005, I was considering the purchase of my first home. I hadn't really started looking seriously when I met with my agent, Scott Wagner, and shared my list of what would be ideal. It was a tall order and I didn't have a big budget. I wasn't in any rush to find something, as I still had a number of months on my lease.He said he'd keep it in mind and would contact me if he found something he thought I'd like. A couple months later, I received a call from Scott stating that he found a new home that was still under construction in my preferred neighborhood. We went to take a look and, wow! He nailed it. I instantly felt at home when I walked in. Great location, perfect layout, and within my target budget. This pushed my home search into high gear. I toured several other properties within the next week and made an offer on the home Scott initially showed me. Before closing, Scott discovered that I had overpaid on taxes due. As the property was brand new and only the land value had been assessed at that point, he was able to negotiate a gift card from the seller in the amount of the overpayment. I'm not the easiest client - I had lots of questions, concerns and anxiety about purchasing my first home. Scott was patient, informative, and knowledgeable. He was able to time closing to minimize the amount I'd have to pay on two places.When it came time to sell, Scott had relocated to Alaska. He referred me to another great agent but continued to be a resource. He answered my questions and guided me through the selling process. Scott is an incredible listener, a pleasure to work with, has incredible attention to detail, and has a high level of integrity. I'd recommend him highly.
