Mariellen helped with the purchase of my new home. I cannot speak enough about her professionalism and warmth; however, they are not the only things that separate her from her peers. She will point out items that need work, give suggestions on how to improve them, and provide the names of good, fair contractors in order to achieve those goals. She has a strong understanding of what can be accomplished when realtors just see problems and steer you away. Her suggestions were perfect to aid me in a getting a few tweaks done on the house to make it perfect. However, let me state that we looked at a house were she pointed out huge mold and water drainage issues that I did not see and she steered me away from buying a house with major problems. Mariellen works tirelessly in finding the right house for you - I can see this from her very late and very early emails. She works as if you are the only client she has and the most important one to her. That is just how she is; she loves getting people into the right house for the right price. Mariellens negotiating skills are professional and she keeps you, the buyer in mind. She treats your money like hers! Mariellen worked hard to ensure that items noted during the home inspection were fixed correctly! I knew I was in good hands with Mariellen as my realtor. I knew nothing about the real estate process and she guided me from start to the finish of an easy settlement; all along the way keeping me very informed of what I needed to do to ensure that there were not any bumps in the road, which made settlement a breeze. I cannot thank her enough for all she did for me through a stressful time of my life in looking for a new home, which, by the way, is fabulous!
