I can?t recommend Algernong enough! As first-time homebuyers, it was really important to us to work with somebody who really knew the neighborhood, and who would take the time to explain things to us in an easily understandable way. Algernong exceeded our expectations in all respects. He immediately seemed to have a sense of exactly what we were looking for, what would work for our budget, and what to avoid. He was responsive, helpful, and extremely personable. We never felt pressured or overwhelmed, but had just the right amount of guidance, and the entire process went extremely smoothly from start to finish. He is a wealth of information, very professional, and very reliable. Al is extremely caring and generous with his time. After closing, he continued to be available for some issues that arose and really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and secure in our new home. We feel fortunate to have worked with him and to have made a new neighbor and friend!

Al is on point for all the ratings here. He was helpful and knowledgeable through the whole process. He even orchestrated some negotiations while he was on vacation just to be sure everything was going our way.We had been house hunting for almost a year before we met Al. He was extremely patient with us and our endless debate of whether to stay in the city or move to the burbs. Al took us to see every house we wanted and even tagged along with us to open houses just to learn what we liked or didn't like about each house we saw. The house we ended up purchasing was actually a recommendation by Al. My wife and I had written the house off, but Al insisted that we give it a look. He was absolutely right. He helped us negotiate and, with his guidance, we won the contract for the house, beating out matching cash offers. Al knows the neighborhoods really well. When we would go to see houses, we would often run into someone he knew. On top of all of this, he always dresses exceptionally sharp. As he says, "You never know who we might run into." We came out of the experience with a new friend and neighbor in Al. When you ask Al to be your realtor, you get welcomed in like family. My wife and I highly recommend him.

We were in the market for a realtor in early 2016. Al was recommended to me by an acquaintance who had nothing but good things to say. We were a very special case for Al. We wanted to buy a fixer-upper, and then go through the process of a 203K loan in the Philadelphia area. Al was very helpful for this as he had already gone through the same process himself. Because our bank kept on pushing back the settlement, the whole process took 4 months. During this time Al kept on his feet and kept on finding us new houses to look at, just in case for some reason the deal didn't work out. His communication and care and personal attention to his clients is outstanding. He really went above and beyond any realtor I have ever met and he made the process that would've otherwise been a nightmare into something much more tolerable. Ultimately we got the house that we wanted, in no small part thanks to Al's persistence, diligence and effort. He's always ready with a positive word, and his knowledge of real estate and the process was extremely helpful. I don't know if we could've done this without him. He even occasionally checks up on us to make sure everything is going well from our side long after the house was purchased. If and when you ever buy a house, I definitely recommend him. You won't find a better realtor in the area.
