ZillowVERIFIED I began my home search in November 2021. I knew Mr. Allen from past business interactions so I immediately knew he would be my go-to once he became a realtor. I went through listings in areas that fit my criteria (as well as my budget) Algernong and I would view 85-90% of those listings, on the same day. If there were a schedule conflict, he would provide options and be solution-focused. He made the process so easy and was SUPER patient with me and all inquiries I had. I experienced a snag with my initial broker and was in a near panic but Algernong helped me navigate through it smoothly and calmed the storm. Al was helpful, responsive, and professional throughout the initial stages of making repairs, getting the house ready for showing (in the midst of a pandemic with small kids home 24/7), and getting it listed. We wanted to buy a fixer-upper, and then go through the process of a 203K loan in the Philadelphia area. Al was very helpful for this as he had already gone through the same process himself. Because our bank kept on pushing back the settlement, the whole process took 4 months. During this time Al kept on his feet and kept on finding us new houses to look at, just in case for some reason the deal didn't work out. His communication and care and personal attention to his clients is outstanding. He really went above and beyond any realtor I have ever met and he made the process that would've otherwise been a nightmare into something much more tolerable. Ultimately we got the house that we wanted, in no small part thanks to Al's persistence, diligence and effort. He's always ready with a positive word, and his knowledge of real estate and the process was extremely helpful. I don't know if we could've done this without him. He even occasionally checks up on us to make sure everything is going well from our side long after the house was purchased. If and when you ever buy a house, I definitely recommend him.
