"You seem to think others should operate on others behalf. It doesnt work that way." That quote from this aEURoerealtoraEUR? says it all. I had to find all the houses, he said someone else was considering an offer and that we should pay full price which is not how to negotiate and so I came up with my own offer (which they accepted) and as things went wrong he wouldnt do anything to help. He also didnt advise me not to allow them to stay in the house after closing (though the commission says he must do that) and overall was the worse experience Ive had with a realtor. I didnt want to post a bad review, but as he continued to not lift a finger and leave me hanging and costing me several thousand I felt like I had an obligation to warn everyone.

How would you feel if your realtor was under contract for half a year (6 months) and never held one single open house? How would you feel if your realtor mislead you? How would you feel if your realtor did not care about your concerns? How will you feel when youve wasted your time and money for six agonizing months? What if your realtor told you your house needed fancy upgrades and encouraged you to settle for tens and tens of thousands of dollars below market price so he could score a quick and effortless commission? If any of the above would bother you, I do not recommend Blair Ballin. After aEURoe working withaEUR? Blair for 6 months I feel demoralized, used and completely mislead. He is simply unwilling to lift a finger unless the sale walks conveniently through his door.

We had high hopes when we hired Blair Ballin, but unfortunately, our experience left us feeling misled, under-informed, and disappointed, particularly in how little was explained to us throughout the home-selling process. This was our first time selling a home, and what we needed most was someone who would educate us and walk us through the process clearly. Instead, key details, like how commission was structured, were either glossed over or never fully disclosed. We were left to piece things together ourselves, sometimes after it was too late to make informed decisions. At several points, it felt like we were being nudged along a track without being fully told what we were agreeing to or why it mattered. When we later tried to get clarity, it was met with defensiveness rather than accountability. Real estate is stressful enough without having to second-guess whether your agent is being forthright. We expected guidance, transparency, and proactive communication. What we got was vague explanations and a aEURoefigure it out lateraEUR? vibe. If youre a first-time seller or buyer who needs clarity and support from your agent, Id strongly recommend thinking twice before working with Blair. Our experience felt transactional, not professional, and in the end, we paid for it in more ways than one.
