I called hometown realty on a Monday morning in September. I also called keller William's realty. Deane cheatham called back Monday afternoon & made an appointment the next day to inspect the property & gain pertinent information to create proposal to sell the property. He showed up at appointed time. He walked thru the house & asked questions to determine time line. Two days later he came back with a viable proposal that included marketing plan to sell house with a first cut at sell price based on hanover/mechanicsville housing market. His proposal was incredoble.Keller-williams was not as prompt to respond. I called 3 times before an agent called back. She made an appointment to inspect the property next day. She made an appointment to go over proposal 2 days after the house visit. Her proposal was very detailed, well thought out & professional. But her proposed proposed marketing plan was based on Richmond metro housing market & the suggested sell price was $25,000 less than the house was later listed at.I accepted the proposal created by the deane cheatham hometown realty team. What an incredible team it is. The house was staged by a professional. It was photographed by a creative professional. All the action items associated with getting the house ready was overseen by an incredible project manager. The house was listed around noon on a Friday. We had a credible offer less than 24 hours after it was listed.The deane cheatham tam was with me every step of the way. I have never had a sale/closing experience as smooth & worry free as I have had with deane cheatham hometown realty team.
