We recently had Doug Lloyd help us sell our previous home and buy our current home. He was excellent to work with. His attention to all of the details related to buying and selling made a big difference for us. In searching for a home, he took us to see at least a dozen places before we found what we were looking for. He was so helpful in taking us around to look at houses and in discussing the details of each home. He was very patient with us as we took quite some time in selecting the right home for us. He guided us through the process of making an offer on the place we liked and adjusting the offer as necessary. We encountered lots of little issues with paperwork (related to mistakes made by other agents, etc.) and he corrected the mistakes, took care of additional paperwork that was necessary, and helped us make sure we got to closing on time. All through the process he kept up updated on the progress.In selling our previous home, he was very helpful in making sure we had everything prepared for listing it and for showing it. He kept us updated on the process of the paperwork, and when things fell behind due to issues related to closing that were not in our control, he kept us updated all the way through to the closing day. For both buying and selling, Doug really took care of everything and fixed all of the problems that came up along the way. I have an even better appreciation for what he does, given that for both buying and selling, he is who drove the process along, and not the other agents. He fixed their mistakes and he took care of paperwork that they should have taken care of.Doug and I were friends long before he helped us purchase our current house and sell our previous one. Regardless, he is a very professional agent and can take care of anything that comes along during the buying/selling process.
