His attention to all of the details related to buying and selling made a big difference for us. In searching for a home, he took us to see at least a dozen places before we found what we were looking for. He was so helpful in taking us around to look at houses and in discussing the details of each home. He was very patient with us as we took quite some time in selecting the right home for us. He guided us through the process of making an offer on the place we liked and adjusting the offer as necessary. We encountered lots of little issues with paperwork (related to mistakes made by other agents, etc.) and he corrected the mistakes, took care of additional paperwork that was necessary, and helped us make sure we got to closing on time. All through the process he kept up updated on the progress.In selling our previous home, he was very helpful in making sure we had everything prepared for listing it and for showing it. He kept us updated on the process of the paperwork, and when things fell behind due to issues related to closing that were not in our control, he kept us updated all the way through to the closing day. For both buying and selling, Doug really took care of everything and fixed all of the problems that came up along the way. I have an even better appreciation for what he does, given that for both buying and selling, he is who drove the process along, and not the other agents. He fixed their mistakes and he took care of paperwork that they should have taken care of.Doug and I were friends long before he helped us purchase our current house and sell our previous one. Regardless, he is a very professional agent and can take care of anything that comes along during the buying/selling process. Finally, he is honest and fair and his way of doing business is a breath of fresh air. One more thing - his rates are fair. I recommend Doug Lloyd for anyone interested in buying and/or selling their home.

ZillowVERIFIED Two years after I became a widow,I thought it was time to transition from a 7 room house to a condo. I engaged Doug Lloyd as my realtor to help me through this process. He sent me listings of condos everyday!! I found my DREAM condo! Doug and I went to see it and I put a bid on it which was accepted. I was doing fine until the reality of two mortgage payments a month hit me like a ton of bricks!!! When I called Doug, he immediately put my fears at ease by telling me,"I represent you and your well being is very important to me." AND HE DID!!! He sent me the appropriate paperwork, I signed it,and the contract for the condo was null & void!!! Doug truly meant what he said to me as evidenced by what he did!!!!

ZillowVERIFIED This is not the realtor for you. He lied to us on several occasions. He sold appliances ,blinds and personal property we told him not to. He took it upon himself to sell what ever he needed to to line his pockets. He was in it for the buyers and himself. I told him we were definitely selling but due to uncertain times and I had a credit issue I needed to resolve it maybe a month or two because I hadn't found a spot to live yet and I needed time. He said I understand and will put Coming Soon on his website. Within 2 days he had the place listed and sold and now my life and my wife and son lives have been altered because of Doug . I have never met a more unprofessional lying human being until I met Mr. Lloyd. He did nothing but make life and the selling process the worst experience that you could imagine. When the Appraisal came back 5000 short of the of the asking price told him I'm not eating it. Either you or the buyers can but I'm not. He saud he might be able to to take 500 of it and he would pay for something at closing. Closing came and he didnt ante up. We realized it when we got home on the paperwork. We called him and he said oh I forgot. I will drop off a check the next day at your house. Are you kidding me. It amazes me what one will do to advance his self. I could keep going but I won't. It's not fair or right what happened to me and my family. Dont let Doug into your lives or your home. He is not one bit interested in your well being. Please scratch him off your list of probable agents. Go a different route. Dont take the chance. He did not 1 time ask us how we felt or even acted like he was on our side. Even during the home inspection he let 3 or 4 people of the buyers family come into my home for 85% of the inspection . That's not cool with or without Covid19. My wife has Multiple Sclerosis and not one bit did he care about her well being with people in and out of our home. He could have cared less. He would schedule showings and we would have to pack up and leave and their really wasn't a showing scheduled or a couple times people would cancel and he wouldn't even tell us. We would be sitting in a parking lot watching our security camera's and no one would show so we would have to call him and he said oh no showings today they canceled I forgot to tell you. Are u kidding me. We had to shut it down for a while because the Corona virus was getting so bad we didnt want anymore people in and out of our home but he didnt care. He continued on his path of greed and lies. He Still hasn't apologized. Doug has put our lives in jeopardy and has altered the course of our lives over his greed and unprofessionalism Not good. This is just the half of it. Please dont let him into your life. It could potentially be a costly mistake. Why chance it.

He took me to all of the houses that I wanted to see as well as the ones that he had found in the area, he negotiated the price down to something I could afford, he recommended a finance company that was able to set me up with a mortgage, he held my hand when I was concerned that I wasn't going to get the loan, that I wasn't going to get the house, that it was just never going to happen. He was there supporting me through thick and thin. I would use him again if I was to invest in another property and definitely recommend him to friends!

ZillowVERIFIED Doug pushed us into a property that almost cost us our entire savings. We saw a property that we liked he made us feel that the only way to get it was to bid $3,000 over the price on Zillow. We asked to see another property we liked more and he told us that he personally sold it and Zillow wasn't good at updating their information. When we said we weren't sure about the property he kept pushing it by saying it's the only one in our price range that met all of our needs. We had an inspection and found out there had been a fire and no entrance to part of the attic. He said a fire is not a big deal and to wait until the holiday weekend was over to make any final decisions this cost us our earnest money. Luckily we found a reputable agent and the original property we had wanted to see was still available. We are closing next week. I would never recommend Doug Lloyd to anyone!
