I am not one to write online reviews unless someone/something truly deserves recognition as was the case with Holly McLear. We met through mutual friends and as a professional contract painter, Holly referred me to one of her home buyer's. That family, raved about her Realtor services. That being said, when it came time for me to move, I called Holly with a very specific list of criteria. I was fortunate in not having a pressing time frame and was not going to settle for something that could/may work. I'm friendly with other local realtors who I also contacted and not one phone call back, obviously not worth the time as not getting the profit from selling a home. Holly called back and said it may take time, but she would find something that would fit my criteria. She kept in touch to say she was still working on finding the right place within my desired location and must haves, and didn't push me to look at something that didn't fulfill my wish list. Holly came through in a relatively short time, saying I found your new home. First and only place I looked at. Holly took care of all necessary correspondence and paperwork, making the the move effortless! It may be just a rental to some and wouldn't result in commission from a home sale, but it would be home to me. Holly treated me with the same courtesy and respect as someone buying a million dollar property. Being a contractor, I work for several clients who bought secondary homes in the Newport area or know someone who is thinking of buying or selling. I retain work through referrals and very aware a good review means a lot. Holly deserves to be recognized for her hard work, professionalism and going above and beyond. It is apparent Holly loves what she does, her enthusiasm shines through and she truly has your best interest in mind, definitely a go to gal!

Holly was awesome! We were first time homebuyers and Holly was able to explain everything and answer all of the many questions we had. She was also great with negotiating with the seller, and was very helpful in getting in contact with the seller's broker so we could have our own inspector take a look, and contractors give us estimates. I highly recommend Holly for anyone else looking for a new home. She is smart, tough, practical, resourceful, and experienced!

We bought our historic home from Holly, and later hired her to sell it, because we knew how good she was. She attends every showing and inspection, and is an excellent negotiator. Holly is also just a great person to work with.
