I recently closed on my first house and I couldn't be happier! Gary Jones made my home buying process easy and walked me through each step with experience. My first time meeting him, he brought a presentation with him to set my expectations and help me understand the process that I would be going through. I saw countless homes with him in various areas of Salt Lake and made a few offers along the way. He spent time working with me to make sure I was making the most competitive offer possible while not pressuring me to extend myself further then I was comfortable. On the first contract I won, I followed his advice and preformed a few non-standard home inspection tests and I am sure glad I did. I had a meth test pop and come back with levels high enough to condemn the house. I was able to back out of the contract and save myself from a drop in resale value and potential health consequences further down the road. After looking for a few more months and following his advice on using a more competitive lender. I found another home that I was excited to make an offer on. I had been honing my offer skills an finally had the ability to use tools (an appraisal waiver, partial hard EM, and a short closing) to win this home in a competitive market. I am excited to move in and take this next step in my life.I will be recommending Gary to all my friends in the are as they look to purchase/sell a home. He is a responsive and knowledgeable realtor and generally just a good guy to work with!
