I started out with a different realtor when I began my house search. Although I had not a clue about buying a house, things werent going the way I thought that they should be going. I was on FB one day and somehow came across a post with Gerald. I read all of the reviews on him and everyone had nothing but great things to say about him. After, watching his work (Him posting about helping someone buy/sell a home) for a while, I decided to reach out to him. June 2019 (maybe a little sooner) I started my journey and on 12/19 I was closing on and moving in to my new home. Gerald was very knowledgeable of what was being asked of him. He was very attentive to me and my situation despite everything else he had going on. I mean, he broke every number, every detail, just any and everything down for me. Even when I cried because I felt like it was just not going to happen for me, he assured me that it was. I was very pleased with his services. Now when I hear people talk about buying or even wanting to start the journey of buying, he is the first person I name.

He is very diligent and hardworking to get you the house, area, and approval needed to purchase the home of your dreams. We tried previously two times prior and began to get very frustrated with process. This caused us to just stop and not even want to become a homeowner. I reached out to Gerald and it immediately felt different. He helped and guided us every step of the way. In the end me and my fiancA(C) were very satisfied with not only the home but also the price!!!!

I've worked with Gerald for almost 6 years now. That's how long it took me to commit to the house that was right for me. In 6 years, not once did he try to steer me in one direction or another to get a quick sale. Throughout that time, he would send me new houses to look at and arrange showing after showing. And the house I bought? He negotiated a sale price under asking for a flip near downtown Durham.If you are in the market, it doesn't matter if this is your first house or your tenth house, go and talk to Gerald. Rest assured that he and his team will work tirelessly and patiently to help you find the house that's right for you. After 6 years, I've learned that you absolutely cannot underestimate the importance of having someone like Gerald--with all of the experience he brings to the table--in your corner, looking over a potential house with you, negotiating on your behalf with another agent, arranging inspections for you... I could go on and on.Lastly, Gerald still takes all of my calls and texts and makes sure I'm set up for whatever comes next with this house that I'm in now. If we ever decide to sell, I will be going back to Gerald and his team.

Gerald was very helpful and assuring throughout the process of me buying my first home! It can be hard trusting realtors because a lot of them can just be in it for the money and not have your best interest at hand, but I believe Gerald did! I am glad I made the decision to go this route instead of with another agent I had originally called. I have the perfect 1st home :) !
