ZillowVERIFIED I've worked with Gerald for almost 6 years now. That's how long it took me to commit to the house that was right for me. In 6 years, not once did he try to steer me in one direction or another to get a quick sale. Throughout that time, he would send me new houses to look at and arrange showing after showing. And the house I bought? He negotiated a sale price under asking for a flip near downtown Durham. If you are in the market, it doesn't matter if this is your first house or your tenth house, go and talk to Gerald. Rest assured that he and his team will work tirelessly and patiently to help you find the house that's right for you. After 6 years, I've learned that you absolutely cannot underestimate the importance of having someone like Gerald--with all of the experience he brings to the table--in your corner, looking over a potential house with you, negotiating on your behalf with another agent, arranging inspections for you... I could go on and on.Lastly, Gerald still takes all of my calls and texts and makes sure I'm set up for whatever comes next with this house that I'm in now. If we ever decide to sell, I will be going back to Gerald and his team.

ZillowVERIFIED Gerald was very helpful and assuring throughout the process of me buying my first home! It can be hard trusting realtors because a lot of them can just be in it for the money and not have your best interest at hand, but I believe Gerald did! I am glad I made the decision to go this route instead of with another agent I had originally called. I have the perfect 1st home :) !

ZillowVERIFIED He is very diligent and hardworking to get you the house, area, and approval needed to purchase the home of your dreams. We tried previously two times prior and began to get very frustrated with process. This caused us to just stop and not even want to become a homeowner. I reached out to Gerald and it immediately felt different. He helped and guided us every step of the way. In the end me and my fiancA(C) were very satisfied with not only the home but also the price!!!!

ZillowVERIFIED I started out with a different realtor when I began my house search. Although I had not a clue about buying a house, things werent going the way I thought that they should be going. I was on FB one day and somehow came across a post with Gerald. I read all of the reviews on him and everyone had nothing but great things to say about him. After, watching his work (Him posting about helping someone buy/sell a home) for a while, I decided to reach out to him. June 2019 (maybe a little sooner) I started my journey and on 12/19 I was closing on and moving in to my new home. Gerald was very knowledgeable of what was being asked of him. He was very attentive to me and my situation despite everything else he had going on. I mean, he broke every number, every detail, just any and everything down for me. Even when I cried because I felt like it was just not going to happen for me, he assured me that it was. I was very pleased with his services. Now when I hear people talk about buying or even wanting to start the journey of buying, he is the first person I name.

ZillowVERIFIED Gerald Mack is THE BEST realty agent to work with. He helped us as our buyer's agent and I'm SO glad I found him on Zillow. Trust me, I was referred to two other agents by my co-workers prior to meeting Gerald; however, they were not knowledgeable nor their words were convincing. Gerald is very passionate and confident with his work and his knowledge and professionalism is beyond what expected. The biggest factor that made me to choose to work with him was that he actually cares to educate his clients. He puts a lot of effort into answering any questions anytime and oh boy, doesn't he speak so eloquently! We were very nervous about our first home buying experience and gotta be honest; it did not go away easily. However, if it were not with him, the overall process couldn't have been any smoother. Now, we've been living in our new home for 3 months and we LOVE it. You won't ever regret having to work with Gerald Mack.

ZillowVERIFIED Gerald was an awesome real estate agent. He was everything my wife and I could have asked for. With us relocating from NY, Gerald was very understanding and patient with our lack of knowledge of the area. He was accommodating and found us everything we wanted in a home. Geralds willing to assist before and after closing is prenominal. He is no longer just our real estate agent, he is now like family. Gerald comes highly recommended by us.

ZillowVERIFIED Gerald Mack of Gerald Mack Realty was very impressive with the sale of my home in Durham, NC. He understands the housing market in the Durham/Raleigh/Cary area like the back of his hand and he has extensive knowledge on buying and negotiation strategies and/or trends of buyers and sellers in that immediate area. He was completely confident in his abilities to list and sell the home for the targeted price, and he delivered as promised. Gerald Mack Realty should be your only choice for realty services within the sate of North Carolina.

ZillowVERIFIED My name is Mailk Shockley and my girlfriend recently bought a townhome using Gerald Mack as her real estate agent. Gerald was extremely professional throughout the process and she always stated that he went over and beyond all the way to her closing date. He always provided updates periodically to inform her of where she was in the process and never left her in the dark. I would definitely recommend Gerald Mack to anyone interested in the home buying process because he will go over and beyond to meet your needs, but will also solidify a great deal.

ZillowVERIFIED Gerald is the best agent hands down. His superpower is that he listens to you, and then really helps you hone down on the best property at a very aggressive price. Also, all the work and hassles of paperwork/documentation involved in buying a home are taken care by him very professionally thanks to his extensive network. I always thought home buying was an extensive process and encumbering, but he made it a breeze for me.

His knowledge about various areas and the home buying/sale process was remarkable and truly a blessing. It was a stress less process and we truly believe because we were in good hands. ZillowVERIFIED Mr. Gerald Mack of Gerald Mack Realty eagerly assisted me with the selection and purchase of my new built home! Gerald took the time to schedule a meeting with me the first day that I called him and listened intently as I read my list of all the specifics that I wanted in my "dream" home. The first thing that I found to be unique about him was that he didn't limit his availability to 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. He encouraged me not to leave out any details that I wanted in my home and to ask any question that I may have. Within 5 minutes, he was able to show me a list of possible homes to choose from. We traveled almost an hour to visit them the following day and I was able to make my selection. Even though I consider Gerald to be very laid back, his professionalism and respect, knowledge of financing, and patience made me feel very at ease. He proved to be extremely unique with his knowledge of the market and his attention to detail was beyond reproach. Gerald was never too busy to answer a question or put any of my concerns to rest. He worked tirelessly to receive a "yes" on my behalf and he shielded me from any stress as he shouldered it himself. He far exceeded my expectations and didn't leave any stone unturned during the process. I was very impressed and grateful for his untiring efforts and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that my experience was a positive one. Gerald Mack is not your typical realtor. He will work diligently and tirelessly to help you find your dream home at the best possible price. He will take the time to explain every aspect of the search, selection, down payment, inspection and closing process as well as any other questions that may arise. Whether you are a veteran or first-time buyer, Gerald will take you under his wing, eliminate the stress, and ensure that you enjoy the best experience possible. Even after closing, you still have someone on your team who has your best interest at heart. With Gerald Mack as your realtor, experiencing stress is a choice. If you want the best, call Gerald Mack of Gerald Mack Realty.

ZillowVERIFIED I put my information in for several agents, including Gerald Mack. As soon as I clicked the send button, Gerald called me less than a minute later (true story). He has been just as responsive ever since day one of speaking with him. I really had no intentions of purchasing a home any time soon. I began looking up agents just to gather information about the process thats required to buy a home. I did not think that I was ready (on paper), but it turns out I was completely wrong and I was over-thinking my entire situation. I first met with Gerald in July and was in my new home by September. Gerald negotiated a great deal for me and put me in contact with other agencies that were able to help bring down my portion of closing costs (In a sellers market!). No matter what time or what day Gerald was there to show homes and break down any information pertaining to the home. If he did not know the answer, best believe he found out and put me in touch with anyone I needed to be provided the correct information. The entire process of buying a home can be quite cumbersome, but I am happy that Gerald was the person to guide me through it all because believe me, I needed it. It was truly a blessing. He is comforting, and took his time putting me at ease about anything I was confused on. He exceeded all of my expectations (because I have heard some bad realtor stories). I cannot recommend him enough! I hope this review does its job of expressing how awesome he is because I genuinely mean it. His rating is high for a reason. You cannot go wrong choosing Gerald Mack.

ZillowVERIFIED Gerald was amazing from start to finish! He prepared me from the beginning, letting me know what to expect as far as the time frame for selling the house, pricing, and work that need to be done to get the house ready. He was in constant contact, which is what I liked the most. When the sell hit a snag, he had an email trail of things he had done to prevent any problems from occurring.(Something I was happy to see). But it was more than just a " see it's not my fault." From there he discussed with me all options I had for preceding. This was great because everyone wants to avoid problems from occurring. However, the true test of a professional is wether they can still be counted on even if things go wrong. And Gerald Mack Realty is beyond a doubt a company that you want to rely on for your business!

ZillowVERIFIED Unbelievably outstanding agent! Gerald helped us find a fantastic property and gave us the most personalized service that is possible. We were purchasing from overseas and that whole process involved a whole bunch of hoops and turns and Gerald was with us all the way being ultra helpful. He grasped our SPECIFIC needs including logistics and time constraints and went above and beyond his way to make sure everything went smoothly. Most importantly - he was ALWAYS contactable, even at late hours and extremely efficient. He personally helped us with getting services set up and expedited just about everything. And following the transaction there were several issues that needed to be sorted out with the house - Gerald personally supervised things and made sure they got done even though he probably could have moved on to other ventures. That is a true testament to his caliber, honesty and meticulousness as an agent. We cannot recommend him highly enough. Six out of five stars !
