Title: Gross Negligence, Zero Oversight, and Total Disregard for Client Trust I had an extremely terrible experience with Stephen FitzMaurice and eXp Realty. As an out-of-state property owner, I placed my full trust in Stephen as my primary listing agent to market and protect my asset. Unfortunately, he demonstrated total negligence, zero communication, and complete unprofessionalism. Here is what every homeowner needs to know: * Only Showed Up for Keys, Then Disappeared: Stephen only showed up in person on day one to collect the property keys. After that, he completely checked out and dumped all duties onto his assistantsaEUR"including handling showings, marketing, and the final lockbox return. Because he never personally inspected or managed my home again, he was completely clueless about its actual condition. * Failure of Property Care & Causing Damage: Under his takeover and exclusive lockbox control, my home was severely neglected. A double closet door was structurally ruined, completely dislodged from its tracks, and split. * Zero Communication on Severe Issues (Including Leaks): During his representation, there were multiple unaddressed issuesaEUR"a leaking plumbing pipe, overgrown weeds in the backyard, a noisy refrigerator, and a filthy bathroom. As an out-of-state owner, I depended on my agent to inform me so I could hire professionals immediately. Instead, Stephen paid zero attention, never notified me of anything, and left me completely in the dark. * Poor Performance: Despite claiming to be a top agent, he failed to generate results and barely brought in a single offer throughout the entire listing period. * Refusal to Take Responsibility & Threats: When I discovered the damages and requested a resolution, Stephen refused to communicate until I escalated the matter to eXp Realty management. When forced to respond, he disclaimed all accountability, refused to assist, and even made aggressive counter-threats rather than resolving the damage that occurred under his care. A listing agent's core responsibility is to oversee the property, communicate transparently, and protect the client's interests. Stephen took the listing, handed off all the work, ignored the propertys condition, failed to deliver results, and refused to accept responsibility. I strongly advise homeownersaEUR"especially out-of-state sellersaEUR"to stay far away from Stephen FitzMaurice and eXp Realty.

I had such a great experience working with Tatiana and can't recommend her enough. She was incredibly responsive, organized, detail-oriented, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. She was also genuinely fun to spend time with! We purchased our fist home from Joe and Liz back in 2001. Their knowledge and passion for what they did and still do was matched by no other realtor we came across.
