My wife and I are not the type to write reviews. In fact, this is the second review we ever wrote for any service provided. That being said, we feel passionate enough to take my time to warn any prospective clients not to use Char as their agent. Moving can be as stressful event and an agent can either reduce anxiety or increase stress. Char did the latter. 1) She was never available for any questions or concerns we had Ex: We would call her cell phone and even text her with no response for days. More concerning, during critical points in the process such as when the contingencies are removed from the house we were selling, she did not respond to our texts. Even more in the extreme, when we opened the Escrow account, we sent multiple texts and calls to find out the name and address of the Escrow company only to finally receive a text after two days to inform us not to worry as she will inform us shortly. We finally got a hold of Char and demanded the information.2) She never kept us informed and assumed we knew the processEx: Char would send us documents for us to sign online (ie aEUR" DocuSign) with no explanation of what was being sent to us. She never informed of us of the process. In contrast, the other agent that we were buying a home from provided weekly updates, created a timeline of the major milestones including defining each milestone and the actions needed to complete the milestone and called us prior to sending any documents for us to sign (and would even take the time to go over every section of the documents to be sure were we comfortable).4) She condescending and lacks humility Ex: Char spent quite a bit of time explaining the number of years she has been in business to the point of bragging. In fact, she was audacious enough to tell us she would be happy to give advice and tips to the agent we were buying a home from. Yet, little did Char know we would call our buying agent rather than her for advice on what we should do related to the home we were selling. (Note aEUR" the reason we had a different agent for buying a home is that Char had no experience in the area we were looking for a new home).Thus, in complete confidence and as a warning we would NOT recommend Char as an agent.
