As first time homebuyers we knew that the process to buy our house was going to be a daunting one. Even after reading countless articles from different resources, we knew that we still needed professional help to get us to the finish line. Through the recommendation of a friend, we were referred to Eric Figurelle. His expertise and knowledge of purchasing a home in Baltimore had been praised by our friend and that is exactly what we wanted when choosing a realtor. From the very beginning, Eric made the process as smooth as possible. He was open and listened to our needs and wants for a future home and even offered suggestions of how to help us narrow down our search even more. When it came to reviewing listings and going to showings everything continued to move smoothly. Eric would send us listings that matched our criteria. If we decided that we wanted to see a specific house(s) then Eric would work with our schedules and always find time to be there with us as we walked through the house(s). And this is where his expertise really came in. As a first time homebuyer, it is easy to get caught up in the process of walking through your potential first home. We did what a lot of people arent supposed to do and immediately looked at surface aestheticsaEUR?how beautiful is the kitchen, how can we arrange our furniture, etc. Eric brought a much needed level of detail to every showing. He would look for items that we may miss if we werent carefulaEUR?a water spot on the ceiling, the slope of a patio slab, etc. Also, Erics knowledge of the Baltimore market was a fantastic resource. He was able to give pros and cons based off of different locations that we chose. He was professional about giving us the information and letting us decide if we wanted to move forward. After finding our eventual home, Eric was there every step of the way up to our closing. He was at inspections and walk-throughs and was able to walk us through the process each time. Knowing that we had never gone through the process before, he knew that we could benefit from a little extra guidance. Working with Eric truly was a great experience for us! Were so happy to be in our new home and so grateful of how Eric got us to this point.

Selecting Eric Figurelle as our realtor was hands down, the best decision we made in the process of selling and buying a home. Our scenario was pretty a-typical and included a lot of ups and downs, which he navigated with such a calmness, it seemed easy! The first hurdle we threw his way was our uncertainty in our desire to move - we weren't 100% ready to leave the city since we didn't know what homes were out there in our price range. Eric spent every weekend for a month working with us to identify areas in our price range with homes we loved - that type of commitment to working with us was so impressive. When we finally did decide to list our home, it sold in under a week with multiple offers over our list price! Eric was able to guide us through the offers to make the best choice -- and then helped us to quickly put an offer on a home we loved. Both our buyer and our seller threw us some curve balls including push back on the home inspection fixes, a delayed settlement, a pre-settlement occupancy, and more. But Eric guided us through each turn with knowledge and expertise that each issue was addressed and we were able to continue smoothly through the process. He also set us up with a fabulous title company and home inspector that were equally committed to our process.
