My family and I moved to Iowa from out of state. Ethan came highly recommended and did not disappoint. My husband and I relocated to the area to be near our son and his family. When asking our son for any recommendations on a realtor in the area he recommended Ethan Hokel, as he had seen Ethan's presence and contribution to the community. We contacted Ethan and he was very knowledgeable about the area and the realty market in the area. He was very communicative whenever we reached out to him and answered all our inquiries thoroughly and in a timely manner. When we traveled to the area on an abbreviated time frame he was able to show us listings, provide detail on the areas as someone who had grown up in the area, and was patient with our questions. We were able to find the perfect house that was in the final stages of completion. Ethan worked through some logistical issues and we were able to close and move-in in the desired time frame. Ethan even met with us on a holiday while we were in the area for a walk through the house. We were very satisfied with the experience. We have heard from Ethan on several occasions since closing on our house almost two and a half years ago checking in with us. We weren't just a one and done client. He has continued a relationship with us and periodically see him in the community.

Ethan showed us numerous houses. Some were on the market and some off the market. Ultimately it was Ethan's patience, perseverance, and local market knowledge that lead us to our home purchase. Ethan, never turned us away when we requested to look at a house and was super flexible in scheduling these opportunities. Again, the home we purchased was brought to us by Ethan as he knew exactly what we wanted/needed in a house to make it a home. He knocked it out of the park for us!

Ethan and team were critical in the sale of our home. We had never considered selling our home until we found a house for sale that we could not pass up. Ethan came to our home, helped us assess the value and was very honest and helpful in telling us where we should fix up/invest money prior to listing. Ethan had professional images taken that turned out amazing and he did a great job sharing and marketing our home. Our house sold within 5 days of being on the market! Ethan was professional, knowledgeable and was always available for us. We had a few more hiccups with the septic system needing replaced post inspection and it kept us on our toes all the way to the closing date, but Ethan helped us through it every step of the way! Would definitely recommend Ethan and team for the sale or purchase of a home!

As a first time homebuyer I wasn't super familiar with the process or what I needed to look out for and Ethan guided me through all of it and really helped make sure I knew what to look out for and ask about. Would recommend Ethan to anyone looking to buy a home in the future!
