From start to finish, buying and selling, Jeff and Margot are absolutely phenomenal. We had a particular neighborhood in mind and without hesitation the Laumanns paid for postage to send hundreds of letters seeing if anyone would be willing to sell to us. Despite my skepticism, we got 2 hits and one of them ended up being our perfect house. Jeff and Margot used their creativity to structure an off-market contract that allowed us to secure our forever home at an incredible price. Then, they pulled off the impossible again by working with us to prepare our old house for selling. We were in contract 3 days after listing for $20K over asking price. The furniture staging that Jeff and Margot paid for certainly helped this sale as well! The Laumanns exceeded our expectations in every aspect. They set the bar for real estate agents in Columbus. Margot & Jeff were our agents in the purchase of a house in Powell OH in 2026. We are relocating from the Dayton area to Columbus. They are both great, and we can't recommend them highly enough! Margot's housing expertise is unmatched by anyone we've encountered. She has an exhaustive knowledge of the market over the whole Columbus area, with an excellent sense of pricing, availability, and the "feel" of neighborhoods and subdivisions. She was superb at reading our needs & wants, and at finding houses that would be a good match for us. But it's not just the market -- she also knows houses. Every time we went through a prospect, she was quick to spot both hidden virtues & possible defects, and she was excellent at knowing the difference between serious problems & cosmetic issues. And in all of that, she was a great explainer, clearly & capably describing her observations & advice and what she based them on. Once we'd picked a house, she was great at keeping things on track. She reads situations remarkably well, she's a skilled negotiator, and she works well with other realtors, so she's able to come up with a deal that works. Jeff became involved after we had a contract, and on very short notice he expertly & quickly moved us through the documentation process. Because of the short time frame, it really took the two of them working together to get the deal done seamlessly, and they do work very well together. Both Margot & Jeff made the process of buying a home in a very competitive market doable & enjoyable. They have a very deep bench of highly competent & helpful ancillary help -- inspectors, mortgage sources, plumbers, roofers, etc., which is making our transition very smooth. We only wish they worked in the Dayton area so they could be the listing agents for the house we're selling here.
