If you want to buy a house in the Utah County area, especially in Alpine, I would recommend Mark Wilkinson with Berkshire Hathaway. Homes go quickly in Utah County and you want someone with experience and with a good reputation. If you want to get a home you have to get in and see the house and put in an offer quickly. Mark is your guy. He has lots of experience and a great reputation and that will get you the house.Mark has lots of good experience. They say experience is the best teacher and Mark has definitely been a good student of experience. He knows the market. Houses are a lot of money and Mark knows how to help you best use the money to get you what you want. He knows when a house is a good deal for you and works to get you a showing reliably and consistently. He always shows up on time. He also will help you write the best offer to get you the house. Because of his experience, he has already seen and dealt with many of the road blocks that always seem to crop up when buying a house. So he has the knowledge and experience in handling them. Marks experience has made him a great communicator. He can communicate with other realtors, services that may be needed, and you. And that is what you need to find the house you are hoping for. He has got our price reduced when items need to be addressed or has them properly addressed for us. His experience really helps make the transition go smoothly. We have bought several houses with Mark and know his experience has been a major player in getting us what we want.Mark also has a great reputation. He is a great person. I hired Mark Wilkinson as a property manager and realtor for my house when my prior tenant abandoned the property. Mark helped us to get the house back on showing condition and found a tenant in a very short time. Mark is very knowledgeable about the Utah county market. In the three years Mark was responsible for my property, the market condition was quite bad due to the recession, but he managed to reassure us that we would find the right buyers even in those conditions. We had two offers fell through (due to potential buyers not fully disclosing their financial conditions). Mark managed to keep us appraised every step of the process and extensively marketed our home among his professional network as well all the online sites.We came into a bidding situation twice and Mark helped us navigate the process which helped us to make the right decision and fetch a fair price for our property.
