We were completely new to the area but we knew that we wanted to purchase a retirement home on Lake Keowee. Lucky for us, we met Phil Kalchthaler. Our family has moved several times across continents and across The United States. Phil is by far the best realtor we have ever worked with. What makes Phil a great realtor centers around his drive for success, which occurs on both a professional and a personal level. Professionally, Phil is very knowledgeable about the area, the market, and the information that isn't provided on a home's listing but is still pertinent when considering the purchase of that home. Thus when we were visiting and evaluating properties, Phil was able to provide us with all the necessary information in order for us to make our decision. He also has a large network of contractors that can make improvements or changes to your home to fit your style. We used several of these contractors and were very pleased with the results. More importantly though, Phil's drive for success on a personal level is truly what made our home purchase such a success. Phil wanted to understand and get to know our family so that he could find a house for us that our family could truly call a home. I think it was mainly due to Phil's ability to learn about each of us that we were able to find a home that was a perfect balance between our needs and wants and our budget.
