Although we had originally looked at other areas in NC (Asheville, Hendersonville, Tryon, and Brevard), he showed us several places near Lake Keowee that were amazing. He quickly found out what we liked, and kept us posted every time a new listing appeared that would satisfy our very particular tastes and functional needs. When we had sold our other home and all the sudden needed to act quickly, he arranged a very full and productive tour of Keowee Key. He was our critical onsite guy when we made an initial offer, and helped us reach an excellent deal. Then his real value became apparent -- the first seller acted in bad faith, refusing to do essential repairs that were deal breakers. Phil insisted that they needed to comply, and took a hard stance on our behalf. Ultimately, we walked and got our ernest money back. Within two days, he helped us land an even better deal on a superior property nearby! That's not all. On the day we had to make a 12 hr epic roadtrip to drive from Ohio to SC for the closing, he arranged permission with the Seller, and met us at the gate for Keowee Key (AFTER MIDNIGHT) to get us into our new home, so that we would not have to stay in a hotel.
