Some addresses are a purchase. This one is a position. 565 Orange Street stands on the best stretch of Orange Street, steps from the Yale School of Management: a three unit brick rowhouse in the Orange Street Historic District, one of a matched nineteenth century trio with tall ceilings, original moldings, decorative fireplaces, and rooms that hold the light. Separate electric meters and individual gas furnaces let each unit stand on its own. The upper three bedroom duplex spans two levels under skylights, with a private garden behind. Yale, downtown, cafes, and parks are all a walk away. Property this close to a growing Ivy rarely trades, and when it does, it does not stay long.
