The Hatton Ranch meadows. A one-of-a-kind legacy property representing one of the last remaining portions of the historic Hatton Ranch, offering nearly 13 acres of usable meadows, majestic oaks, and sweeping south-facing views of the Santa Lucia Mountains just moments from Carmel-by-the-Sea. Raised high above the Valley, one would have barely an inkling of their incredible proximity to town. Gated, but with no HOA, a private well system supports the future construction of a substantial main residence, creating a rare opportunity to establish a true legacy estate. Existing improvements include a renovated one-bedroom, one-bath cottage, previously from the old Carmel Dairy, and a renovated barn, original to the ranch, now the home of an office/gym. With expansive usable acreage so uniquely close to the beach, the ranch is ideally suited for a private family retreat, equestrian pursuits, a large car barn, potential agricultural uses, or enjoy the property as-is and land bank it for future generations. Spend your days watching families of deer, turkeys, peacocks, foxes and bobcats roam the meadows. Or pop into town in minutes for a cocktail before dinner. The kind of property that speaks directly to the soul, this is true Valley living, only right in town.
