Built in 1806 and situated on 2.6 acres extending from Route 106 all the way to the Jones River, the Captain Charles Adams House boasts all of the character and history one would expect in a property of this vintage. Inside, the home offers over 3000 square feet of living space with gorgeous wood floors, five fireplaces, beautiful built-in cabinetry, and even a pottery studio in the basement. Outside, the lush grounds include a 40x22 inground pool with gazebo and cabana, beautiful plantings, a large detached barn / garage, and a private path through the woods to the riverbank. Prior owners of this showcase property include Rev. Courtland deNormandie, pastor of the First Parish Church in Kingston in the 19th Century, and jazz trombone legend Pee Wee Hunt. Now, as Kingston prepares to celebrate its 300th anniversary, this historic home can be yours to reimagine, with ADU potential in both the barn and the rear office / mudroom, as well as ample room for expansion or possible subdivision.
