If you've ever dreamed of living in a one-of-a-kind space that blends history, creativity, and modern comfort, this is your chance. This remarkable c.1883 church compound has been thoughtfully converted into a one-of-a-kind home on the Saugerties and Woodstock border. The former sanctuary now serves as a dramatic living and entertaining space with soaring ceilings and original stained glass. The property also includes the former rectory, now a fully renovated two-bedroom modern home on its own adjacent parcel, offering flexible space for guests, work, or rental potential. Located just minutes from Woodstock, Saugerties, offering the perfect mix of small-town charm and artsy, upstate vibes. The first floor is an open, airy haven, featuring a spacious kitchen and living area, dining space, yoga room, a flex room (currently used as a third bedroom), and a full bath. Upstairs, you'll find a dreamy primary suite, a second bedroom, and a separate office/guest room. But the real scene-stealer? The retro, oxblood-tiled bathroom. It's massive, moody, and pure spa-like bliss. Whether you're cozying up in one of the home's many tucked-away nooks or taking in the light-filled sanctuary, every inch of this space feels special. And it doesn't stop there. The rectory has been renovated as a stylish, modern home on a neighboring but connected parcel to add even more flexibility. This sleek 2-bed, 1-bath retreat is perfect for guests, a home office, studio space, or even a rental. Outside, the property is pure magic, with meandering ivy-lined paths, lush gardens, a firepit, and breathtaking mountain views near the old church rock quarry. Beyond the property, you're minutes from the best of the Hudson Valley and Catskills--whether it's hiking at Overlook Mountain, skiing at Hunter, exploring the Kingston waterfront, or grabbing a bite at Miss Lucy's Kitchen in Saugerties or Silvia in Woodstock. Need to get to the city? The Rhinecliff Amtrak station is a short drive away, and the George Washington Bridge is just about two hours south. This is more than a home, it's an experience. Don't miss out on this rare opportunity to own a piece of history with endless possibilities!
