Designed by Roy S. Johnson this mid-century modern showcases iconic aesthetics, clean lines, open spaces, extensive ipe decking & distinct integration with nature. Perched at the end of a long driveway, the house commands stunning views of the surrounding woodlands & panoramic sunsets. The open post & beam architecture creates flexible social areas with a two sided wood-burning fireplace accented by walls of glass. A secondary rear entrance created by a large bluestone patio serves as a private dining & seating area. This use of open space is continued to the lower level, included in square feet, with a second fireplace, large windows, half bath, laundry room & walkout to the covered sitting area. Enclosed vegetable garden, fire-pit sitting area, paths featuring seating & specimen trees for lingering. Close to schools, highways, train & village. Offering the perfect balance of privacy & convenience. Feels like living in a hillside sculpture where meadow and forest meet.
