Marcel Ulvert

I was born in Nicaragua and educated in the USA. I joined the US Army in 1986 and was deployed to Saudi Arabia -Desert Storm- in January 1991. When the war ended, I entered into civilian life and started a life in healthcare. I ventured into the corporate world and held several senior level positions including Sales Management and General Manager, in large multi-national brands such as Dollar Rent-A-Car, Hyundai Construction Equipment, Toyota Forklifts, and Cummins Power Generation. After being forced out of Nicaragua, I found a home in Yuma where with my wife and five-year-old daughter have enjoyed home ownership. Most recently, I joined Doorway Home Loans, a direct mortgage lender, with the goal of helping others make home-ownership a reality.
