We were recommended to speak with Kathi Barry and Mortgage Navigators by our realtor. I was hesitant at first because I was already well down the path with 2 direct lenders and felt I was already getting a better-than-market deal. Well I did speak with Kathi and here I am today. Kathi was able to look across multiple lenders and find the best mortgage solution for my needs. Once she knew my situation and what I wanted, she did all of the legwork for me of shopping various lenders that I did had not even heard about. She was able beat the other offers I had in both rate and closing costs. Throughout the lending process she was extremely communicative and guided me through the process. When I had questions, regardless of whether it was evenings or weekends, she was always very responsive. Selling/Buying/Moving is stressful enough, so the last thing you want is someone you cannot freely communicate with, hence why I was always glad that Kathi was a simple text or phone call away when I had questions. I truly felt she was my lending partner and was very much committed to helping me through the process in the most beneficial way for me. An added bonus was that since Kathi was local to Colorado, she attended my closing in person to make sure there were no funding issues. That is a level of service that I certainly would not have received if I went direct with some national lender behind an 800 number and email address. After my positive experience I did refer Kathy to a colleague of mine that was buying a second home in Colorado. Like me, he was reluctant because he already had a lending institution lined up that was giving him a 'very good deal'. I strongly encouraged him to speak with Kathi (it is one phone call and 30 mins of your life), and after they connected, he ended up leaving his other lender and going with Kathi.

Kathi is amazing! She is on top of all the details and very proactive. We purchased a home while the market was extremely competitive so we had to make multiple offers before one went through. With each offer, Kathi was ready immediately with all the numbers specific to the home we were interested in and always had our pre-approval letter ready the same day.
