I was in retail for 15 years and needed to make a change. I stumbled upon the mortgage industry in 2015. In my first role, I helped one of the largest lenders in Texas build and maintain his business. In that time I absolutely fell in love with the process of helping people find their home and feel confident in the process of qualifying and understanding what it means to get a mortgage. The story that had the most impact on me was of a girlfriend of mine that was buying her very first home. Her story was TRAGIC.
