As a Central Florida local, mom of three, and real estate agent, I look at Winter Garden through two lenses: what makes it enjoyable to live here and what buyers should know before choosing a home. The downtown area is a big part of the appeal—Plant Street, the farmers market, and the West Orange Trail give you places to spend time beyond your own neighborhood. Winter Garden also offers a wide range of homes, from established neighborhoods near downtown to newer communities around Horizon West. My biggest advice? Get to know the specific neighborhood. Two homes with a Winter Garden address can offer very different daily routines. Drive your commute during rush hour, verify school zoning, and compare HOA fees, any CDD fees, and the total monthly cost. For me, finding the right home means finding a place that fits your everyday life. If you’re considering Winter Garden, I’m happy to share a local perspective and help you understand those differences. Cassidy McWherter | Central Florida Realtor

At Wemert Group Realty, Winter Garden holds a special place in our hearts. This vibrant, growing community perfectly blends historic charm with modern living. We love spending time in Downtown Winter Garden, strolling along the West Orange Trail, catching live music at the Plant Street Market, or grabbing a bite at The Whole Enchilada or Rosallie. Whether we're helping a family settle into Stoneybrook West or Waterleigh, or exploring new builds in Hamlin, there's a strong sense of pride and connection here that's hard to miss. With beautiful parks, great schools, a lively local calendar, and close proximity to Walt Disney World and major highways, Winter Garden offers something for everyone. It's a place where community thrives"”and we love helping people find their home in it.

I am a third generation Orlando resident. Over the past 15 years, Winter Garden has experienced so much growth not only in the residential market but in commercial as well. When I was growing up it was considered rural. Today the town consist beautiful historical homes in the heart of town and safe suburb communities on the outskirts of town. Here you can find the famous Winter Garden Bike Trail, Farmers Markets, Local Festivals and tons of local Mom and Pop shops and commercial shopping as well to meet everyone's needs. The school systems and high-school sports are fantastic here too. I would highly recommend this town to raise a family in.

So I have been a FL Resident in Central FL for over 20 years. Winter Garden is one of the most popular markets in Central FL. Lots of Millennials moving out there and lots of international buyers as well. Winter Garden is a few miles away from the magical world of Disney. Lots of growth and develops for years to come, with A graded schools in Orange County.
