Westlake Village is a very small city in the state of California which is located in the counties of Los Angeles and Ventura. When choosing a new place to live, the cost of living is a significant consideration. The cost of living in Westlake Village is higher than the national average and most cities in the state. Living in Westlake Village has a suburban feel, which can be nice for families looking for more space than larger densely packed cities for the money and a good area to raise children.

Westlake Village is among the wealthiest communities in the greater Los Angeles area. It is nestled at the center of Conejo Valley. Specialty stores, boutiques, nature trails, playfields, and fine restaurants are plenty in this suburb. The Oaks mall is barely 10 minutes away. Single-family homes dominate Westlake Village real estate market, but you will also find several options for apartments and condos.
