What I appreciate about Orlando is how different your lifestyle can feel from one neighborhood to the next. As a local, mom of three, and luxury real estate agent, I look beyond the finishes to the privacy, convenience, and surroundings that make a home enjoyable every day. PRO #1: A variety of living experiences From downtown residences to established neighborhoods and lakefront properties, Orlando offers options for buyers with very different priorities. PRO #2: Dining, entertainment, and culture Restaurants, arts venues, sporting events, and attractions give you plenty to enjoy beyond your own neighborhood. Choosing a location near the places you frequent makes that access more meaningful. PRO #3: Homes with distinctive character Whether you prefer contemporary architecture, an established home beneath mature trees, or a waterfront setting, you can shape your search around your own version of luxury. CON #1: Traffic affects convenience A short distance on the map can take longer than expected. I encourage buyers to test their commute and everyday routes before choosing a home. CON #2: Ownership costs deserve a closer look Insurance, property taxes, HOA or condo fees, and maintenance can vary considerably. Understanding those expenses upfront helps you compare properties with confidence. The right Orlando home should complement how you want to live. If you’re buying or selling, I’m happy to offer a local perspective, careful attention to the details, and personal service throughout your move. Cassidy McWherter | Central Florida Luxury Realtor

ORLANDO THE "CITY BEAUTIFULL" Located in Central Florida, it is the center of the Orlando metropolitan area, which had a population of 2,387,138, according to U.S. Census Bureau figures released in March 2016. These figures make it the 24th-largest metropolitan area in the United States, the sixth-largest metropolitan area in the Southern United States, and the third-largest metropolitan area in Florida. As one of the world's most visited vacation places destinations, Orlando's famous attractions form the backbone of its tourism industry. The most significant of these attractions are Walt Disney World, opened by the Walt Disney Company in 1971, and located approximately 21 miles southwest of Downtown Orlando in Bay Lake, the Universal Orlando Resort opened in 1999 as a major expansion of Universal Studios Florida, and the SeaWorld Park which opened in 1973 owned today by Anheuser-Bush the owners of Bush Gardens.
