Kevin Neely

I sell in Floral City and across Citrus County, so here is the version I give clients rather than the brochure one. Floral City is one of the older settlements in Citrus County and it still reads that way, with the oak canopy along the main corridor and a housing stock that spans a century. Buyers come for that character. They should also come prepared for what older property asks of an owner. Roof, electrical, and plumbing age set your insurance and often your financing. On a house with real history, those three answers matter more than anything cosmetic, and they are worth getting in writing early. The lakes and the Withlacoochee corridor drive the other half of this market. Access varies, seasonal water levels are real, and a parcel described as near the water can mean several different things. Floral City is a specific taste and the people who want it know it. If that is you, the work is in the diligence, not the search. By Kevin Neely, Florida real estate license SL3518624.
