Edinburg Texas is just North of McAllen Tx. I live, work & play in Edinburg, and I absolutely love it. There are many free nature parks, dog parks, and water parks. Edinburg is known for the University of Texas in the Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), and a Medical school. The cost of living is lower in Edinburg than in most areas across the country and we have beautiful weather throughout the year. Edinburg TX is about 30 minutes from the Mexico border, I prefer the Progreso bridge entry (if you go to visit), easy to walk over shop & eat then walk back to the USA side. The only negative I find is that Edinburg is so deep in Texas that it takes about 2.5 hrs to get to San Antonio or 5 hrs to Houston, but the positive is South Padre Island is only 1 hr away. I love the beach 🥰 There is a lot of industries moving to Edinburg and the surrounding areas because of the border town relations and the low cost of living. Interested in the Rio Grande Valley, please call me. I would love to provide you with some pointers. Amy-Noelle Gallo RE/MAX PLATINUM
