Atlantic and Neptune Beach is the most popular "local beach" in Jacksonville. Unlike its counter part Jacksonville Beach, this area is less touristy and more coveted by the locals. Between Neptune and Atlantic there is a row of many locally owned businesses including some amazing restaurants staple to this area like Hawker's, The Local, Coop 303, Ragtime, Southern Grounds, and North Beach Fish Camp. If you desire living next to the beach with lots of conveniences but not paying the South Florida prices, this is a fantastic option for you. Located south of a Naval base this location is a key spot for military families. And a beach cruiser is a must if you live here!!!
