Getting started we received a warm welcome from our realtor, Jill Jackson, offering her availability to begin searching for our new home in Gwinnett County, Georgia. And, because we reside in Cobb County, Jill set up initial meetings via Face Time to consult with us about homes in Gwinnett County focusing on Suwanee, Lawrenceville and Buford as well as her take on the current real estate market and came up with a plan. Jill advised us on homes in communities that fit our lifestyle and our budget and showed us many in a market adjusting to coming out of two plus years of high prices and non-traditional market norms. Upon deciding on a home to make an offer, Jill guided us through the negotiation process with ease and professionalism. And, though seasoned, because we were asking for a large seller concession in terms of closing costs, Jill brought in Christine Moody, Team Lead at RE/MAX Legends for assistance in finalizing negotiations that were reasonable for both sides. Upon favorable negotiations and a subsequent contract Jill and Christine worked in tandem all the way through to closing and beyond. Each were instrumental in high end referrals for financing, home inspection and closing attorneys as well as post-closing with referrals to various vendors in our new community. This point was proven to us when his office sold our previous house!Contract Coordinator Amber Matos is another member of Jims team who deserves high praise. Im not sure when she sleeps or goes on vacation because she was astonishingly fast and efficient in responding to us and the agents for the other parties in all our transactions.We loved the fact that the Jim Wells team utilizes technology to the fullest extent! We had video chats to review all the contracts, and we signed everything electronically. In selling our previous home, we felt the Jim Wells team continued to go above and beyond for us. They had the property professionally photographed. Emerson held a couple of open houses. They also gave us access to an app so that we could be alerted about home showings. We could even tell when someone went in the house, which was a helpful feature since we didnt live there. When we were 4 days away from the scheduled closing date, Emerson still showed the house to an interested buyer. We think a lot of agents would have refused a showing request at that late date, assuming that the closing would happen. We appreciated his tremendous level of commitment to selling our home!I rarely leave reviews on-line, but the Jim Wells Sells team deserves every accolade!

They had to move in in 10 days. I had no where to go though Id planned to move back to Georgia. Called several agents but settled on Mark Schafer at the Wells Group. Best decision I made in a long time. Mark worked looking for houses for me and we finally got to one being built. Mark communicated to me daily on the status and even picked out flooring, cabinets, fixtures and more. Amber in the office kept me well informed. ZillowVERIFIED When we were moving back to Atlanta from Massachusetts and trying to find our home, we started by looking at properties on the internet and we found a property and Jim Wells called us right away. Jim immediately took initiative and began to ask about our must haves in a property. We did this all from our Massachusetts location on a Sunday afternoon. That same evening, Jim sent us homes. Our first trip to Atlanta visit Jim and team was very patient as we looked at a number of locations in various areas of metro Atlanta. The majority of the homes usually met some key desires such as flat driveway and master on the main. So yes they actually listened to our must haves. Jim also quickly realized that we had a short window to make this happen and Jim would quickly utilize his negotiation skills with the sellers agents of the various properties. He is not pushy, but is genuinely there to help facilitate the decision. From our experience, this trait is very important and cherished by us. ZillowVERIFIED Katie and I felt very comfortable with Jim from the first meeting we had wit him about listing our home. We had met with other realtors, but Jim seemed to have a better strategy and overall knowledge than the previous realtors. He priced our home right and we had a contract in less than 30 days. Obviously, we used Jim to purchase our next home and it was very complicated as we had a relocation company along with the previous sellers to negotiate and deal with when submitting offers. Jim, was very knowledgeable and walked us through the very complicated process of having a third party involved in addition to normal sellers. I honestly don't think we would have made it through the buying process without him. I would recommend Jim to anyone looking to buy or sale a home especially in a market at a higher price point. We can proudly say that Jim has become our friend and we would never use anyone other than him for our real estate needs

ZillowVERIFIED For those who don't know we had a crazy time selling our house. We spent months with a realtor who wasn't driven and we lost a few deals because of it. Jim Wells and his team at REMAX legends in Buford got my listing from the other agent and we were under contract in no time at all. Jim was very professional and took amazing photos of our house, he even helped rearrange the furniture. If you are looking to sell/buy in Gwinnett county don't go to anyone but him! You will not regret it! BTW he helped us buy this home when we first moved to GA!!
