Review Woody is the best! We sold San Diego Housing Commission-affordable house. This is very different selling process and needs lots of communication between SDHC and buyers. Woody is best to communicate SDHC and everything was perfect from identification of qualified buyers to closing escrow. There were unexpected issues during the escrow, like tons of repair and doc signings, but we went throughout all of them and he always helped us to resolve those. He is very responsive and kindly and immediately answers our questions, whatever it is simple or difficult. I really thank him and I am lucky to work with him, specially like our case. Woody, from the start, had a great plan, listened to my needs and set things up to ensure the best opportunity to have the property sold in the quickest timeframe, which it did. The property sold in less than one month.Even though I was living three thousand miles from the property, Woody removed all concerns regarding distance. He was prepared from the start with knowing how to proceed with every circumstance that arose and made the distance irrelevant.Even when the dishwasher sprung a leak and I had to work with the homeowner insurance to get the adjuster and contractors in, things never skipped a beat. My first attempt with another "Real Estate Professional" that I clicked on to view a property did not respond to me. If memory serves me correctly the next day I tried again and I clicked on Woody's name and I got a call within seconds of submitting my request. He is very knowledgeable, charming, easy to talk to and not pushy at all. He arranged the viewing of the home for the next day. I was helping my daughter so this was not for me. Review When I broke my foot by stepping in a squirrel hole last year, I knew my days in my 3-level townhouse were numbered, so I began searching the internet for single-level homes. I became interested in 55+ communities in Southern California and was further drawn to manufactured homes in 55+ parks.My goal was to locate properties online, set up visits with listing agents, and, if ready to make an offer, just use the relevant listing agent to go forward with the purchase. But as my husband and I began to focus mostly on manufactured housing, we realized, having only ever bought and lived in site-built housing, that we were disadvantaged. It was then that we asked Woody Henderson, whom we had signed as Listing Agent for the sale of our townhouse, to serve as our Buyers' Agent as well; and it proved to be the best decision we could have made.Woody is well-versed in the unique details of buying manufactured housing as well as traditional housing, and we staked our future on his knowledge and hugely supportive, low-key guidance. He was quickly responsive in discovering details of listings we had no access to, and always willing to make a trip to meet us anywhere.When I finally located the perfect property, Woody joined us for a thorough walk-thru-and-around and offered sound advice as to the value of the property. Our friend described Woody as diligent, detail-oriented, and of the highest integrity; and we found Woody to match that description completely.We first contacted Woody to be our Listing Agent when we began to search for a single-level alternative to our 3-story townhouse. We asked Woody, first of all, if he could accommodate us in waiting till we'd found just the right house before any showings of our townhouse. I will start by saying that Woody is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He will bend over backwards for you as a client whether selling or buying. He also can get tough if the situation requires it, like it did when selling my home. I wont bore you with details but my buyer was one for the books. We did eventually close and if I had any other agent I would have been beyond stressed but having Woody as my agent gave me a sense of calm. Wood made the process so painless and relatively easy. From the first day we sat at our dining room table to the final day of escrow was great. We discussed other criteria that were important such as shopping and transportation. Review Due to our positive experience with Woody in 2013 when we purchased our home, he naturally came to mind when we decided to sell this past year. There were several challenges from the start, mainly that we did not live locally which meant Woody took charge of every detail to include working with our tenants to schedule open houses (often times tidying up the space himself), arranged for staging, photographs, was present at every walkthrough and inspection, worked with our HOA to get repairs done to ensure our property was aesthetically pleasing to a potential buyer from the outside (requiring persistence, several phone calls, and even him showing up to the monthly homeowners meeting to get the job done). I'm not sure of many realtors going above and beyond the way he does. You can tell when someones heart is in their business, and I can say that Woody has proven that he genuinely cares about making the best possible experience with the best possible outcome for his clients. Woody is an absolute professional who Id choose to work with every time!
